Job Growers Incorporated provides staff at each of the area’s four WorkSource Oregon Centers. At the centers, staff help job seekers assess their skills and connect to the training needed to succeed in the job market. The latest skill assessments, skill up-grade tools, job search tools, and labor market information are available in each of the four Centers.
Hard Work Brings Success to Gervais Resident!
Eligio Millan Employed:Wilcox Farm, Safety Coordinator One Stop: Woodburn Worksource Oregon Center Eligio Millan attended a skill upgrade orientation at the Woodburn Center in search of assistance for GED funding and structured job search services. Millan faced a variety of employment barriers, including the recent loss of all of his identity documentation and transportation difficulties. This did not deter Millan from his goal; he was determined to continue his education in hopes of finding gainful employment.

Photovoltaic Workshops Available
A 40-hour workshop that provides an introduction to the fundamentals of grid-tied and stand-alone photovoltaic (PV) Systems will be held at the Chemeketa Center for Business and Industry, 626 High St. NE, Room 203 in Salem. Upon completion, participants will sit for the NABCEP PV Entry Level examination.
The workshop schedule is the following: March 8, 9, 15, and 23rd from 8 am to 5 pm. The instructor is Ryan Mayfield of Lane Community College and the Northwest Energy Education Institute.
