The Enterprise “Brain Trust”

The Enterprise is guided by a highly motivated and expert board of directors. The 30+ person board brings expertise in the areas of training, human resources, employment, management and public policy. Working with businesses and industry groups, they form a potent “brain trust” for workforce development.

Our Directors are actively engaged in the work of the Enterprise, identifying workforce needs, creating new partnerships, finding additional resources, advocating for workforce development. The Enterprise’s Board also serves as the Local Workforce Investment Board for Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties, developing a local workforce investment plan and overseeing the investment of Enterprise resources to meet the mission and vision

The Enterprise operates as a “trustee” for workforce development. Directors (with the support of staff) act as scanners to identify workforce challenges/opportunities, conveners of effective partnerships to create solutions, managers of resources to fund solutions, and evaluators to ensure return on investment and identification trends and opportunities.
