Board of Directors

Volunteers from the communities of Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties serve on the Board. Federal law specifies that 50 percent plus 1 member of the board and the board chair be from private sector businesses. Also, by law, union representatives, county commissioners from the three counties, and other mandated workforce partners, are Board members. The Board guides the overall investment of federal Workforce Investment Act funds and any other funds awarded to Job Growers Incorporated.

Board Officers

Job Growers Incorporated Board of Directors elected new officers at their annual meeting on May 20, 2011. The newly elected officers for July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012 are:
Michael Fowler, CEO, Cabinet Door Service, Board President
Joni George, Chief Culture Officer, Climax Portable Machine Tools, Inc., President-Elect
Kim Wilmes, Metal Innovations, Treasurer
Patrice Altenhofen, Executive Director, Cascade Employers Association, Secretary.
